This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner to step into the role of Team Coordinator for the 0-18 CYPMHS East Team. Main duties of the job
Provide dynamic operational management and leadership to the team, ensuring the successful implementation and ongoing delivery of Trust pathways and protocols. This will enable the team to consistently deliver safe, effective, high-quality, and compassionate care to our patients.
Clinically, you will manage a complex caseload. Providing high-level assessments and interventions that reflect the post's seniority and your advanced experience and skills. You'll also work closely with the Team Manager and other senior colleagues to foster effective multidisciplinary collaboration within the team and across the wider CYPMHS service.
You will ensure that clinical practice meets the required standards, with a focus on shared decision-making and continuous evaluation of care through routine outcome measures. A key part of your role will involve leading the recruitment, supervision, and development of staff, ensuring the team operates efficiently within available resources while meeting its performance targets.
Additionally, you will lead the establishment, implementation, and monitoring of policies and procedures, ensuring that the team remains compliant with the highest standards of care.

1. Regulated with one of the following regulatory bodies: HCPC Professions and protected titles | (hcpc-uk.org) Registered Nurse (NMC Part One) The Nursing & Midwifery Council - The Nursing and Midwifery Council (nmc.org.uk) Social work England Home - Social Work England Association of Child Psychotherapists Register of Child Psychotherapists | Association of Child Psychotherapists (childpsychotherapy.org.uk) Degree level or equivalent qualification in health or social care related subject (Past Nursing diploma also accepted) N.B. Social workers registered with Scottish or Welsh regulatory bodies would be expected to register with the English regulatory body upon acceptance.
2. Practicing at masters level or equivalent as evidenced by qualifications, post graduate studies and relevant experience.
3. Nationally recognised post-qualification, continuous professional development (CPD) related to the core profession.
4. Leadership qualification or equivalent experience.
