About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Transformation Program Manager to lead complex infrastructure and security programs. In this role, you will combine your technical expertise and project management skills to deliver innovative solutions for clients, overseeing large-scale IT projects to ensure alignment with strategic goals and industry standards.
As an IT Transformation Program Manager, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating project risks, optimizing project timelines, and ensuring high-quality standards, while leveraging your knowledge of security protocols, infrastructure, and emerging technologies to deliver secure, efficient, and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Program Management
o Lead complex IT transformation initiatives, including infrastructure and security upgrades, from initiation to closure.
o Develop and manage program scope, budget, schedule, and resources.
o Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with IT transformation initiatives.
o Manage stakeholder expectations through clear communication and reporting.
o Ensure program deliverables align with business goals and government/public sector regulations.
2. Reporting
o Develop comprehensive reporting frameworks to provide clear visibility into program status, milestones, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
o Regularly update senior management and stakeholders on program progress, challenges, and risk mitigation strategies.
o Utilize project management tools and software to track program performance and generate detailed reports.
o Prepare executive summaries and detailed reports for board meetings and strategic reviews.
o Ensure transparency in reporting by maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of all program activities.
3. IT Applications
o Oversee the implementation and management of IT applications that support organizational objectives.
o Ensure the alignment of IT applications with the overall IT infrastructure and security strategies.
o Collaborate with application developers and software vendors to integrate new applications and ensure they meet security and performance standards.
o Monitor the performance of IT applications and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
o Stay informed about emerging IT application trends and technologies relevant to government and public sector services.
4. Infrastructure Expertise
o Possess in-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including networks, servers, storage, and virtualization technologies.
o Understand cloud computing platforms and their security implications.
o Collaborate with infrastructure engineers to design, implement, and manage secure IT infrastructure solutions.
o Stay updated on emerging infrastructure trends and technologies relevant to government and public services.
5. Cybersecurity
o Implement and maintain robust IT security controls to safeguard government data and systems.
o Develop and manage IT security policies and procedures aligned with government regulations and best practices (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework).
o Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and address security threats.
o Collaborate with the security team to develop and implement incident response plans.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with a focus on IT transformation and modernization.
* MBA (preferred), with a focus on digital transformation and change management.
* PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent.
* Fluency in German is a must, with the ability to communicate clearly in both English and German for international and multilingual projects.
* Proven experience in IT program management, with a minimum of 10 years in a senior management role.
* Demonstrated knowledge of IT infrastructure and security concepts.
* Experience working at a Big 4 accounting firm or Accenture is preferred.
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
* Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM certification is desirable.
* Strong analytical capability and advanced Excel skills.
* Strong attention to detail, organization, and collaboration skills.
* Ability and comfort interacting with all levels of management, business leaders, and technology stakeholders.
* Understand the privacy and confidentiality of clients (will be under NDA).
