Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain Splunk dashboards, reports, alerts, and visualizations.
* Design and implement Splunk searches, queries, and data parsing for log analysis.
* Integrate Splunk with various data sources, including cloud and on-prem systems.
* Optimize Splunk performance by fine-tuning configurations and indexing strategies.
* Collaborate with security and IT teams to develop monitoring and alerting solutions.
* Automate data ingestion and transformation processes.
* Troubleshoot Splunk-related issues and ensure system reliability.
* Stay up to date with Splunk best practices, new features, and industry trends.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Strong experience with Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Cloud, or Splunk ITSI.
* Proficiency in Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL).
* Experience in developing custom dashboards and alerts.
* Knowledge of regular expressions (regex), JSON, XML, and scripting (Python, Shell, or PowerShell).
* Experience integrating Splunk with third-party tools (e.g., AWS, Azure, ServiceNow, or SIEM platforms).
* Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks (if working in a cybersecurity-focused role).
* Ability to troubleshoot and optimize Splunk performance.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
