The postholder will lead on the Clinical Governance Assurance Framework and implementation for the Division and across the Trust. They will work with the Divisional Clinical Director and Associate Director of Operations to embed systems to deliver high standards of quality and safe care based on best practice and clear evidence, and in line with Trust priorities. They will contribute to decision making at a corporate level within the organisation, through membership of the Trust Senior Leader Forum. The postholder will support the Divisional Director and Associate Director of Operations in the production of the Divisional annual Business Plan, ensuring that the workforce is appropriately involved and that relevant professional developments are fully reflected. They will contribute to the development of the professional leadership in the Trust. Represent the Trust, Divisional Director, Medical Director and Chief Nurse when required. Work with senior colleagues across the Division and Trust to refine clinical quality dashboards so that they increasingly enable early intervention before significant risks or harm occur. Use formal risk assessment processes to identify, manage and mitigate risks relating to across the Division. The postholder will work in partnership with the Divisional Director and Associate Director of Operations, in the ongoing identification and operational delivery of schemes to contribute to the Trusts cost improvement programme (CIP). They will lead the short- and long-term strategic planning for redesign and modernisation of professional roles within the Division.
