Counselling forms an integral part of our service. As part of our team, you will be delivering counselling interventions to the highest standards.
You will provide evidence-based short- and medium-term counselling sessions to people engaged with the treatment service, ensuring timely access.
You will be committed to facilitating positive outcomes for people under the supervision of a qualified clinical supervisor. You will support assessments and provide evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions relevant to the people we serve.
We work to support people experiencing difficulties associated with a range of challenges, most frequently including drug and alcohol use. We want to support the promotion of physical, psychological, and emotional safety and help people to regain a sense of control and empowerment in their lives.

Full TIme Salary: £28,268.79 - £30,606.83 dependent on experience, pro rata for part time
Contract Type: Fixed Term for 6 months
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will support cilients within the below projects;
1. Black Country FDAC – Family Drug and Alcohol Court
2. The Beacon – Walsall
To be considered for this role, you will be a BACP or UKCP registered member or have other relevant professional membership. (Please see Job Description for requirements).
You will hold a level 4 (or above) counselling/psychotherapy qualification from a credible training organisation. This will have included at least 100 face-to-face tuition hours and at least 50 hours of your own individual counselling/psychotherapy.
You will also have a minimum of 400 hours of appropriately supervised, contracted counselling practise across a range of delivery modes, including at least a third of those hours being in person and at least 80 hours in the last two years.

CGL points 24 to 27 (£28,268.79 - £30,606.84)
