Do you want to help shape the future of Manchester's communities? We are looking for a Stakeholder & Social Value Advisor to join our team on a part-time basis (3 days per week) until October 2025. This role is crucial in delivering social value activities and stakeholder engagement related to our highways projects in Manchester. You will work closely with the Manchester City Council to enhance customer satisfaction and promote social value within the community. What you'll be working on… Develop and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including local authorities, residents, businesses, and community groups. Coordinate and run local engagement events, ensuring effective communication and participation from all relevant parties. Manage stakeholder communication, handling inquiries and complaints, and advocating for equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI). Contribute to community investment initiatives and build brand awareness within the local community. Ensure that social value initiatives are effectively communicated and understood by all stakeholders. Produce and implement engagement action plans and stakeholder trackers. Collaborate with the customer communications team to develop and maintain the Scheme Customer & Stakeholder Plan and scheme Social Media Plan. Provide direction and guidance to colleagues delivering social value initiatives.
