About the role
We are recruiting for a diligent, field-based Area Valet Manager to work across various Arnold Clark branches throughout the Scotland Area.
Hours
Full time, Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm.
Responsibilities
1. Visiting branches across our Scottish network to monitor and manage valet performance.
2. Liaising with general managers and valet supervisors to discuss any issues and rectify them.
3. Reviewing employee and site productivity levels.
4. Writing reports.
5. Controlling costs.
6. Training and mentoring valet staff.
7. Monitoring activities in line with company health and safety policy.
Essential skills
1. Strong valeting skills and excellent attention to detail.
2. Great communication and influencing skills.
3. Good awareness of health and safety.
4. Ability to write reports and complete paperwork accurately.
5. High standards of cleanliness and presentation.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Ability to work away from home when needed.
8. Full clean driving licence held for a minimum of one year.
Nice to have (but not essential)
1. Previous coaching and training experience.
2. Supervisory experience.
3. An understanding of Microsoft Excel.
