Job Description
The Production planner will be responsible for;
* Manage material planning and inventory control for assembly level planning.
* Ensure timely and efficient scheduling of procurement activities.
* Coordinate with various departments for smooth workflow.
* Implement process improvements for increased efficiency.
* Monitor supply chain activities to avoid delays and complications.
* Work closely with suppliers and negotiate contracts as required.
* Foster a collaborative environment within the Procurement & Supply Chain Department.
* Contribute to the overall success of the industrial/manufacturing operations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Production Planner should have:
* Qualifications in supply chain management or a related field.
* Proficiency in inventory management software.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
* Excellent negotiation skills.
* A good understanding of procurement processes in the industrial/manufacturing sector.
* Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
* Commutable daily to Gloucester
