Your new company An exciting opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Finance/Accounts Manager to join a manufacturing and distribution SME in South Manchester. With a global presence and a solid reputation, an experienced individual is required to support the finance team on an 18-month fixed-term contract. Your new role Your new role as Accounts Manager involves overseeing the accounts department to ensure it operates efficiently. You'll be responsible for meeting all deadlines, including month-end, year-end, supplier payments, and accounts receivable. You'll manage the day-to-day activities of the department and supervise the staff. Additionally, you'll prepare management accounts and reports, and oversee the annual financial audit. What you'll need to succeed You will be suitably qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or QBE). You'll have worked within SME's, with experience in a manufacturing environment. You possess excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP Business One. You work effectively with colleagues to offer support, and maintain a cohesive team environment. By setting a good example, you influence others positively and have the ability to analyse the company's market position through trends, and contribute new ideas for development. What you'll get in return The assignment will pay an attractive annual salary of up to £55k on an 18month FTC.
