Description
We are seeking an experienced non-audit Accounts Manager to manage a portfolio of clients, including limited companies with turnover up to £10m.
You will oversee a small team of accounts staff and work closely with the team leader to build strong client relationships and ensure high-quality service. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who enjoys working with diverse clients and industries while identifying opportunities to enhance client businesses.
The Role:
You would likely have experience in:
* Providing guidance, scheduling work, and reviewing files to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
* Perform accountancy work on more complex jobs when required.
* Address client queries related to year-end, tax, and day-to-day bookkeeping matters.
* Identify opportunities to enhance clients’ businesses, including spotting tax, corporate finance, and funding opportunities.
* Ensure smooth communication between clients and internal teams, fostering an environment of collaboration and service excellence.
The Person
Qualifications: Qualified Accountant with 2-3 years post-qualification experience (ICAEW, ACCA).
Experience: Proven experience in managing non-audit accounts, including tax returns, management accounts, and client bookkeeping.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team, with experience in reviewing work and managing complex tasks.
Client-Focused: Strong interpersonal skills with a client-centric approach, capable of building and maintaining effective client relationships.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in various accounting software and a solid understanding of accounting principles and regulations
