Your responsibilities will be as follows:
You must have experience in triage with a previous role.
Extensive experience in taking cases from Triage through to main duty and section 184 decision making.
Demonstrate a confident working knowledge of Part 7 and Part 6 of the Housing Act 1996.
Assess and case work homeless applications made to the council, ensuring compliance with homelessness legislation, specifically the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 (HRA).
You must have experience or knowledge in:
Demonstrated understanding of homelessness legislation, including the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 and relevant sections of the Housing Act 1996.
Confident working knowledge of Part 7 and Part 6 of the Housing Act 1996
