The role
As a Type 31 Risk Manager you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. The Risk Manager is a lead-level professional role in the Risk discipline of the Project Management role family. This role performs a range of more complex technical or operating activities of Risk Management within the programme. The role requires an indepth level of knowledge, skill, and qualifications to perform specialised work across a broad range of processes, procedures, and systems, with direction from the Project Controls Manager and/or the Head of Project.
This role will ensure that risks are not only managed but incorporated into the day-to-day execution of the project and the associated baseline for reporting.
Day-to-day, you'll Support the sites Risk Discipline lead in generating risk strategies and frameworks. You will also develop and implement the Project Risk Management plan, and deliver weekly/monthly updates to risk registers and mitigation actions within RiskHive.
1. Provide QRA analysis within the company's toolsets - SRA's and CRA's for the project.
2. Develop and implement Risk Management policies, procedures, process and instructions within the project.
3. Establish and implement Risk Management Governance within the project
4. Communicate the projects position on Risk Management to internal and external stakeholders.
5. Manage the risk outputs assurance process, including data, analysis and reporting
6. Develop and assure training material/support to all stakeholders.
This role is full time 36 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.
Essential experience of the T31 Risk Manager
7. Extensive relevant experience in a similar environment / business sector
8. Extensive experience of designing and implementing Risk Management methodologies, processes, systems and tools
9. Advanced risk & opportunity management techniques
10. Full project lifecycle experience working on complex and major projects
11. Experienced in various contracting methodologies (e.g. FIDIC/NEC/JCT)
12. Previous Line Management experience

13. Project Planning and Controls - Practitioner
14. APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ)
15. Management of Risk
16. Practitioner or APM Risk Level
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) security clearance for this role.
