Job summary The Health Care Support Worker will support the registered nurse in the provision of the highest possible standards of care for patients and their families. They will perform tasks within their own competence following direction from a registered nurse in a professional manner, maintaining confidentiality at all times. Working as part of a team to ensure the highest quality of care is given at all times to patients. Main duties of the job The post holder will be a key member of the multi-disciplinary care team:- 1.To undertake delegated duties as instructed by the registered nurse. 2. Support multi-disciplinary team in providing consistently high standards of care. 3. To record timely and accurate patient information.
