Technology Delivery Manager
Chemring Energetics UK is a global business providing a range of equipment based on energetic materials for defence, civil defence and key commercial customers. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technology Delivery Manager to join our existing team.

Reporting to the Director of Engineering and Technology, you’ll be at the forefront of identifying opportunities, leading R&D initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams - including Chemistry and Product Development - to deliver innovative solutions. You’ll be instrumental in developing and trialling new technologies, securing external funding, and ensuring projects align with our long-term Technology Roadmap.

Key Accountabilities & Duties:
* Carry out all activities in full compliance with H&SE legislation, within company policy and procedure.
* Responsible for reporting any unsafe acts or unsafe conditions observed (using the Near Miss System) in accordance with responsibilities under the Health and Safety at work Act.
* Deliver the appropriate R&D aspects of the Technology Roadmap in accordance with the five year plan.
* Project Management of aligned development programs
* To gain the required level of external funding to develop technologies in accordance with business unit five year plans.
* Develop products and technologies in accordance with the defined Engineering & Technology processes.
* Support specific product developments where necessary.
* Work in close collaboration with Business Development to ensure that all technology developments and R&D are market led.
* Develop partnerships with key organisations to ensure that CEUK have involvement in appropriate technology developments and that skills are developed appropriate to the needs of the business.
* Contribute to the development and execution of the Technology Roadmap.
* Maintain awareness of relevant engineering / technology trends.
The Candidate:
* Must have personal commitment to Safety, Quality and Environmental standards.
* Strong bias for action to identify potential problems and co-ordinate their resolution before they become an issue.
* Continually seeks to identify new ideas and implement new opportunities, which deliver business benefit.
* The ability to build and develop effective relationships and use these to improve performance.
* Strong IT, communication and team working skills
* Knowledge of the principles of company policy and operating procedures in order to ensure site and company compliance.
* Excellent communication skills.
Qualifications/Experience:
* Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
* Membership of a professional institution (desirable).
* Project Management
* Proven track record in the development of new / novel technologies in Energetic materials.
* Process design Review Experience
* IT Skills (esp. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Working within multi-functional teams
* Excellent communication skills
