But your approach is just as important – we need talented people who can work with others and who want to make a difference Join our Cornwall Housing team for the career opportunities… and stay for the community About the role The provision of comprehensive technical and administrative support to the Acquisitions and Assets teams, provide a first class, accurate and friendly first response to a range of daily enquiries and issues. Duties range from maintaining and managing accurate records, raising and processing orders, monitoring and recording information, to assisting with new build projects. You will support with the following: Monthly review of the property pipeline with Cornwall Housing Limited (CHL) Acquisition Team and CC reps Follow Handover Schedule, ensuring smooth delivery of handovers to timescale, liaison link between Acquisition Team and housing ops, finance, asset management. Pass defect enquiries and raise property repairs to appropriate contractors, liaising with the Acquisition Surveyor in support of booking inspections of properties. Keep accurate records and update the progress of these. Ensure a full review of the compliance documentation is undertaken, follow the QC process, advise of any anomalies or failures and regular liaison with the Acquisition Team Lead Following acceptance, certification to be loaded onto Open Housing/Lifespan/ Docuware Attend dwelling inspections sites as and when needed on behalf of Team Leader/Surveyor About you To be successful, you’ll have: A relevant housing related vocational/professional qualification, or demonstrates relevant experience An understanding of Housing and Landlord Services in a local authority and experience of inputting and extracting financial data. A technical knowledge and experience in property repairs in either an administrative role or practical experience. Demonstrates attention to detail and analytical skills Competent in the use of Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word and Outlook Experience of translating and implementing and delivering strategies, policies and practices that deliver improved services for customers/service users in a more efficient way.
