Required for January 2025, the Governors of Ashurst Primary are seeking to appoint a highly effective and experienced level three learning assistant who is able to provide ‘Excellence Everyday’ in delivering bespoke provision for some of our SEND pupils. Responsibilities will include leading and delivering tailored learning to meet the diverse needs of our pupils in liaison with class teachers and SENCO. It will involve supporting children with a variety of needs to access the curriculum and raise their achievements, providing not only academic support but also fostering personal growth and resilience. The successful candidate will work and have experience in supporting children with SEND in small groups and delivering provision linked to EHCP outcomes. NVQ Level 3 Qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
