A Teacher of Mathematics is required for an SEMH school in the Billingham area. This full-time role is to start as soon as possible and will be ongoing, potentially long-term. The successful Teacher of Mathematics candidate would ideally have experience of working in Alternative Education with pupils who have SEMH and behavioural needs.
This lovely school is mixed sex and has supportive and friendly staff and managers.
The ideal Mathematics Teacher candidate would:
1. Have a passion for teaching children with a variety of SEMH and behavioural needs.
2. Have experience of teaching general Mathematics to secondary age pupils.
3. Have excellent subject knowledge.
4. Be able to organise themselves.
5. Be able to engage with children in a proactive way.
6. Have experience of working in an Alternative Education setting.
In addition, you must:
1. Provide two referees we can contact.
2. Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one.
