About Castledon Special School
Castledon Special School is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant. The role involves part-time hours of 32.50 per week, 38 weeks per year (term time), from 8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday. We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to support children aged 5-19 with special needs, including ASD.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who is:
* Resilient, confident, and patient
* Flexible to work across all key stages and various classes
* Positive and a team player
* Capable of working with pupils displaying challenging behaviors
* Knowledgeable about pupils with complex needs
* Possesses a valid driving license and willing to take a minibus test
* Willing to undertake training for personal care and medical needs
