Title: Quality Manager
Duration: Permanent
Location: North West of England
Our client is looking for a Quality Manager to join their team in the North West of England.
Responsibilities:
-Management and implementation of quality management systems (17025)
-Promote Quality
-Implementation of QA/QC programs to detect issues, defects and errors
-Reduce cost
-Improve compliance to the required standards
-Monitor lab activities to ensure adherence to testing protocols and operational workflows
-Monitor process performance and report performance against indicators to senior leaders
-Management of equipment calibration program
-Deliver internal audits and recommend improvements
-Manage UKAS visits
-Investigation of all audit findings and submission within deadlines
-Reporting to senior leadership
-Undertale root cause analysis and develop corrective action plan
-Investigation of any complaints
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Quality Management, Chemistry or a related discipline
-Experience of working within a quality management role
-Experience in ISO 17025 accreditation and UKAS
-Ability to lead without direct management authority
-Experience in conducting audits
