Finance Administrator
£26,500-£27,500, Harrogate area, flexible hours, friendly working environment, employee discounts, training and development.
Due to a restructure, we are currently recruiting for a Finance Administrator for this well-established company based in the Harrogate area.
Main Purpose: The main purpose of this role is to support the finance team, looking after your own set of accounts. You will mainly be processing sales ledger invoices, reconciling accounts, and issuing statements.
Finance Administrator Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate and efficient financial records
* Manage sales ledger, inputting invoices and processing receipts
* Issue monthly statements
* Deal with invoice queries
* Produce reports and analyse data
* Assist with monthly and annual audits
* Reconciling accounts and chasing payments
* Maintain up-to-date client records
* Liaising with third-party companies
* Administering contracts
This Finance Administrator role would suit someone who has worked in the following areas: sales ledger, accounts assistant, finance assistant, or has worked at a higher level in accounts but is now looking for a step down. If you are looking for the first step in your finance career and have previous experience processing invoices, training can be provided. The start and finish times can be flexible if required, but standard hours would be 8.30 am - 5:00 pm.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working in a finance or accounts team preferred
* AAT qualifications preferred but not essential
* Excellent communication skills
* IT proficiency
* A good head for numbers and attention to detail
* Strong administration skills
