The role!
Position: Independent Living House Manager
Location: Wakefield, MA
Pay rate: $23.50 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday (12pm – 8pm) Hours are flexible depending upon factors such as doctor’s appointments, etc.

Summary & Responsibilities
The House Manager is responsible for day-to-day operation of the Spruce Street residence. Provides support to staff and ensures that the home environment is maintained to the highest standard. Protects the rights, freedoms and confidentiality and supervises the medical, nutritional health and general welfare of individuals within the program. Responsible for 24/7 on-call coverage.
* Providing oversight of the medical health, nutritional standards, educational and general welfare of the individuals.
* Participating in the development of the (ISP) Individual Service Plan and periodic review, in collaboration with all staff.
* Assuming overall responsibility of house and individuals’ funds and allocates funds to staff members as needed.
* Determining, approving and managing all expenditures for the operation of the house in accordance with all policies and procedures.
* Holding regular meetings with individuals to discuss issues, activity plans, and household routines.
* Engaging with the individuals and participate in program and community activities. Responsible for community outreach to ensure integration and relationship building.
Qualifications
* High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Human Services preferred
* At least 3 years’ experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
* A passion and dedication to supporting our people is a must
* Valid Driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record
* Must pass company background and reference checks
