Technical Administrator - Food Safety & Compliance\n \n Under direction of the Technical Manager, this role focuses on ensuring food safety and product labelling compliance across the operations.\n \n Key Responsibilities:\n \nManage customer complaints efficiently, liaising with suppliers and customers \nAssist with technical training for staff on food safety, quality, legal requirements and internal procedures \nSupport implementation and maintenance of BRCGS Storage and Distribution accreditation \nConduct finished goods product checks against artwork and specifications at goods intake \nCollaborate with warehouse team to maintain high standards of health and safety, hygiene and procedural compliance \nWork with Marketing to ensure product labels, artwork and specifications comply with legislation \nOversee relabelling of externally supplied products to meet UK legislation \nManage sticker application process according to internal procedures and external guidance \nCollect and report packaging data on internal sheets and external platforms \nOrganise product testing samples \nReview process control paperwork \nSupport Technical Manager on critical projects with effective prioritization \nProcess customer requests for product details promptly \nWork with suppliers on Product and Packaging Specifications \nAssist with Artwork Approval Process from start to finish \nCollaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams \nRepresent technical perspective on new and existing product development \nAssist on projects for own label brands, managed brands and private label \nProvide administrative support to Technical Manager and maintain technical records \nUndertake additional duties as required by line management You will have a degree in Food/Nutrition/Product Development or similar, good written and verbal communication skills and exceptional attention to detail. \n If you have experience in a BRC related environment or within the food industry this is a distinct advantage
