Job summary The Band 6 Paediatric specialist nurse's role requires a passionate, highly motivated and experienced Nurse with excellent communication skills, who considers themselves first and always the child's advocate, someone who wishes to continue to develop their clinical and leadership skills, delivering high quality care to our children and young people and their families. Main duties of the job You will demonstrate safe critical decision making skills whilst working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to meet the needs of the child/young person and their family. We work in collaboration with Alder Hey Cystic Fibrosis and Asthma Services. We work closely with our CYP Transition Nurse and the adult respiratory team to provide effective transitional care for our young people.
