Based in the UK, this role offers a competitive salary range of £65,000 - £90,000, depending on experience, plus a company bonus scheme, company car or car allowance, private pension, and private healthcare options.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker to lead the identification, promotion, and delivery of planning consent on land with medium to longer-term potential for residential development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for directly assisting the Strategic Land Director in achieving business objectives, managing the integration of strategic land assets, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* To identify, secure, promote, and deliver planning consent on land with medium to longer-term potential for residential development.
* To assist the Strategic Land Director in achieving the Company's business objectives.
* To manage the integration of strategic land assets and develop ongoing strong relationships with key individuals and groups of interested parties.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the land acquisition and planning process.
* In-depth knowledge and clear understanding of the evolving planning system, including localism and sustainability.
* Self-sourcing and acquisition of new opportunities, as well as a track record of delivering time-critical projects within program and budget.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, attention to detail, self-motivation, business acumen, and tenacity/perseverance.
