Role: Highways Engineer Location: Nottingham Salary: Up to £45,000 depending on experience Our client is looking for an experienced Highways Engineer to provide technical design on their highways projects, and support the leadership team on projects. About the Highways Engineer role: They have an exciting pipeline of highways schemes, and a rapidly growing team of highways engineers and consultants. This role will report to the Highways Engineering Director, and take responsibility for production, review and submission of their medium-to-large projects. The ideal Highways Engineer will have a working knowledge of responsibilities under Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015. They will also be someone who wants to work in a dynamic SME where they can help to train junior professionals, manage clients and stakeholders, and have a tangible influence on the continued success of the business. The Highways Engineer will: • Provide technical design on medium-to-large projects • Produce, review and submit highways engineering projects • Manage projects, clients, and stakeholders • Train and mentor junior engineering professionals • Support the leadership team in managing the highways team, including performance management Qualifications, skills and experience: • At least three years’ experience in highway or public realm design • Competency with Microsoft Office, CAD and Civil 3D • Excellent written and spoken English • Capacity to manage multiple projects and lead delivery teams • Experience in supporting junior team members, helping them to produce exceptional outputs • Ability to integrate into a team and consult with clients and stakeholders • Proven track record in delivering projects on time and on budget • Energy and enthusiasm What to do next: If you are interested in this Highways Engineer position in Nottingham, then please click on the link to apply.
