Lledr Hall OEC is Salford City Council’s residential adventure education Centre. The Centre is located near the village of Dolwyddelan about 5 miles from Betws y Coed in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. It caters for a wide range of groups from across the City of Salford and occasionally further afield. These include schools, youth groups of all ages, school staff, community groups and corporate clients.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, positive and motivated person to take on the role of Head of Catering and Domestic Services to join our successful Outdoor Education Centre. The person selected will be responsible for providing a first-class catering and domestic service to our visitors. This will include planning and sourcing menus and cooking appetizing healthy meals. They will be responsible for all aspects of budget management, stock ordering and control, and compliance with all relevant legislation.
In addition, the person appointed will have management responsibility of the Centre’s domestic team ensuring high standards of kitchen service and cleanliness throughout the building are maintained at all times.
We are a small friendly staff team with a supportive and welcoming working environment. The working hours are amenable to a positive work life balance. There is some limited weekend work required with weekday time off in lieu. The payment for this will be deducted from your first four months’ salary payments at a rate of £12.38 per month.
