This role has been created to oversee and administer our suite of connected business systems. With the introduction of a new ERP system alongside our existing ecommerce tech stack we are looking to ensure we have the internal resource to support, monitor, troubleshoot and continually improve our digital architecture. Supported by our external partners you will ensure a smooth operation and provide guidance on enhancing the systems to support the business objectives.
Required skills & experience
* A technical background with a track record of delivering projects & improvements
* External stakeholder management
* Operational / warehousing knowledge
* Experience in managing WMS integrations
* Data formatting, presentation & analysis (Excel, Google Sheets etc)
* An eye for detail and a methodical approach to tasks
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical users.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Desirable skills & experience
* Ecommerce environment support / administration
* API principles & technologies, particularly JSON

Responsibilities
* System Management & Administration:
o Oversee and manage business-critical systems (e.g., ERP, finance, and third party warehouse inventory management systems).
o Maintain and troubleshoot existing software and systems to ensure their continued performance and integration with other platforms.
o Ensure data integrity, system security, and backup protocols are maintained.
o Data gathering, cleansing, analysis and reporting.
o Facilitate Demellier’s continued growth by promoting technical improvements and innovation.
o Document all key processes and automations.
o Monitor our automations / API, resolving any errors in a timely manner and providing feedback for improvements to the process.
* Project Management:
o Support the ERP system and its users with guidance, training & minor customisation.
o Support the implementation of new software systems or upgrades.
o Collaborate with various departments (e.g., finance, sales, operations) to assess needs and ensure alignment with business processes.
o Develop timelines, manage budgets, and track progress for system-related projects.
o Heavily involved in 3PL integration and managing smooth transition of the technology in DC.
* Process Improvement:
o Analyse current business processes and propose system improvements or automation to enhance efficiency.
o Work with leadership and key stakeholders to identify opportunities for system-based process improvements.
* Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
o Own the relationships with external partners, software vendors to manage contracts, support issues, and system updates.
o Coordinate user training, ensuring that staff are adequately equipped to use business systems effectively.
* Reporting & Analysis:
o Provide regular reports on system performance, data analytics, and system usage.
o Ensure accurate data flow between systems and advise management on any anomalies or data-related issues.
* Team Collaboration:
o Work closely with internal departments, and external consultants to ensure smooth operation and integration of business systems.
o Prepare IT policies and identify what external support is needed.
o Provide general IT / technical guidance to the business.
