SEN Teacher Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and regularly update individualised education plans for each student.
* Set specific, measurable goals tailored to the unique needs and abilities of each child.
* Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
* Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other support staff to deliver comprehensive care.
SEN Teacher Requirements
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
* Bachelor's degree/Qualifications in Special Education or a related field is desirable.
* Previous experience working with children with severe SEN, ASD, and disabilities.
* Understanding of various disabilities and SEN, including autism spectrum disorders, physical disabilities, and cognitive impairments.
* Child and adult DBS.
