Join the growing team at Windows Plus Roofs Ltd – A locally run UPVC window and door installer, 2 week extensions and small works builder.
We are looking to recruit a proactive, hands-on Senior Contracts Manager with a wide knowledge & experience within the reactive building maintenance and revite sector, to work from our head office in Gateshead.
Someone who has proven experience & is able to manage several small to medium works contracts across various sectors, who takes ownership of their contracts regardless of size or scale, as we develop our Pennine brand of Living Spaces.
A great team player who is able to effectively communicate at all levels of the business, oversee and manage a team of contracts managers across the North East.
Accountable/Responsible for:
* Managing a team of contracts managers across the North East.
* Ensuring work is planned effectively, completed right first time, on time, to the highest standards and within budget.
* Maintaining a 4.7 rated excellent result on Trustpilot.
* Ensuring that all works are carried out safely and in accordance with current legislation and company policies.
* Ensuring that the actions and appearance of all Contracting employees, subcontractors, and their supply chain present the correct company image on all projects, across all brands: Budget Windows, Windows Plus Roofs, Pennine Windows, and Bathrooms Plus.
* Establishing new trade business opportunities.
* Providing support and coaching for their team, identifying strengths and weaknesses, and encouraging improvements for future career development.
* Communicating and distributing all changes and updates to legislation and company policies.
* Managing and maintaining links between their team and other company departments, e.g., Technical services and HSQE.
* The maintenance and safe use of all company equipment and plant, including fleet vehicles.
* Reviewing the works regularly and reporting to the Board Directors.
* Using company resources effectively.
* Must be IT literate.
