Are you an innovative and driven leader with a passion for delivering impactful business and community learning programs? North East Scotland College is seeking a talented Business Operations Manager to take charge of developing and implementing a forward-thinking regional commercial and community learning portfolio that aligns with both local needs and national economic priorities.
What You'll Be Doing: As the Business Operations Manager, you will be at the heart of creating and delivering a dynamic portfolio that responds to the evolving demands of the Regional Economic Strategy, regional priorities, and national initiatives. Your work will directly influence the growth of NESCol's commercial income and the positive impact we have on the local economy and the communities within it.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading the development and delivery of a commercial and community learning portfolio that reflects the region's evolving needs and strategic goals.
* Providing senior operational leadership for the Business Operations team, ensuring alignment with the College's Strategic Plan and annual priorities.
* Supporting the development of initiatives that contribute to the College's growth, with a focus on commercial income, performance improvement, and long-term sustainability.
What We Are Looking For: You will be an experienced leader with a deep understanding of both educational and business operations, ideally in a furthereducation setting or a related industry. Your strategic vision and ability to build strong commercial and community partnerships will be key to the success of our programs.

QUALIFICATIONS
1. A degree and/or appropriate professional qualification (SCQF Level 9).
2. Evidence of continuing professional development
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
1. Significant experience of relationship building and delivering commercial income streams for commercial clients
2. Experience of direct contact with employers to negotiate the development and delivery of work focused training programmes
3. Experience in costing bespoke programmes for commercial clients
4. Knowledge of the education and training market in which NESCol operates
5. Proven successful experience of effectively leading and managing teams to achieve objectives and improve performance
6. Working knowledge and understanding of managing data analytics and insights.
