As the Goods in Administrator you will be expected to be part of a flexible team working within various Goods in functions and to communicate, where necessary, with Pets Supply Chain or supplier's representatives. You will also assist the Stock Team where required. For Goods in you will ensure all receipts of merchandise are documented and input in line with agreed procedures and ensure that the receipts process is performed in line with agreed working procedures and all discrepancies are properly advised and authorised. You will also ensure that all deliveries are provided with effective delivery times to ensure efficient goods in processing at the point of receipt.,
* Check with the First Line Manager's for priorities for Goods in each shift.
* Front of house for external deliveries - to book in and organise oncoming deliveries based of the days inbound schedule to enable efficient tipping time within the SLA.
* Handover with the previous admin for any priorities and update on the containers i.e., empties / working on dock / backhauls etc.
* Checking for empty containers on the yard and containers on dock and sending relevant emails
* Communicating with external customers, including but not limited to Supply Planners. Use of Email, Phone and Teams
* Consult with transport and the shunter to marry up on backhauls on yard or under canopies.
* Open all logs and spread sheets ready for the daily bookings and backhauls arriving.
* Check orders in the tray for decant to see if there are any discrepancies or completed and need closing.
* Advise supplier's paperwork to Pets for any changes.
* Letting colleagues know what deliveries are on what docks.
* Update the container KPI'S and the transfer tracker and consult with the relevant department.
* Add all discrepancies to the discrepancy log.
* Continue to check for empty containers and containers on dock send relevant email.
* Collect information for the handover sheet and send to the relevant email.
* Send all relevant emails to inform daily no shows, empty containers, handover.
* File any paperwork completed in the archive.
