Responsibilities include security, portering, maintenance, grounds maintenance, health and safety testing, driving, and cleaning. Day-to-day of the role: Perform a variety of tasks related to security, such as monitoring CCTV and managing access control systems. Undertake portering duties, including setting up rooms for events and moving equipment. Conduct routine maintenance and grounds maintenance to ensure the college premises are well-kept and safe. Carry out regular health and safety checks and testing to comply with regulations. Provide driving services for college-related activities and transport needs. Maintain cleanliness across the college facilities to provide a pleasant environment for both students and staff. Be available to cover weekend shifts as required and respond to emergency calls occasionally at short notice. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience working with the public and young people, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills. Current clean valid full driving licence. Access to a vehicle and willingness to work at all college sites as needed. Flexibility to cover weekend shifts and be contactable by telephone, occasionally at short notice.
