Job Title: Building Services Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Purpose of the Role
To offer exceptional customer service to customers, retailers, and visitors. The role involves maintaining the centre's systems as scheduled, carrying out repairs, monitoring energy consumption, and ensuring systems operate efficiently. The engineer will support the team in maintaining high engineering standards to maximize operational effectiveness and reliability, and will act professionally with contractors, retailers, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance as per CAFM programme.
* Test systems against engineering standards for effectiveness and reliability.
* Ensure adherence to quality assurance, site procedures, electrical safety rules, and NICEIC accreditation.
* Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
* Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
* Inspect services and proactively address callouts/repairs.
* Work within plant room environments and at high levels using platforms and ladders (all PPE provided).
* Maintain company tools safely.
* Support team success with a positive approach.
* Respond to emergency call-outs on a rota basis.
* Attend site emergencies outside normal hours as needed.
* Support continuous operation and technical delivery for retail units.
