About the Role: Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician looking to work on a prestigious project? Join our Service Delivery team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the M25 Tunnels. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining a variety of electrical systems while ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: Perform planned maintenance and repair work on electrical equipment such as switchgear, transformers, pumps, fans, VSDs, lighting, and control gear. Diagnose and repair faults using technical drawings. Maintain traffic safety systems, including sensors, barriers, and traffic signals on the Dartford Tunnel approach. Conduct civil, electrical, and mechanical maintenance tasks as needed. Operate vehicles for maintenance activities. Ensure vehicles, plant, and equipment are maintained for safe operational use. Respond to incidents, ensuring a quick and safe resolution. What We’re Looking For: We are looking for a results-driven individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for excellence. You should have: Qualifications: Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship and relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds). 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations certification. Additional certifications (desirable): Inspection & Testing (C&G 2391), CSCS Safety Card, IPAF, PASMA, MEWPS, G39, and confined spaces training. First Aid certification. Experience: Extensive knowledge of electrical maintenance, including generators and switchgear up to 11kV. Proficiency in fault-finding using schematic drawings. Understanding of Health & Safety legislation. Hands-on experience with electrical installation work. Personal Attributes: Strong communication and teamwork skills.
