We have an opportunity for an appropriately experienced and skilled clinician to take up role as Team Manager for the South Tyneside Children and Young Peoples service in South Tyneside.
Main duties of the job
All operational duties relevant to the team including meeting performance targets, supporting the clinical manager with service improvement and delivery. Managing the workforce and HR issues of the wider team. Line management responsibility for all disciplines excluding medic colleagues.
The successful candidate will be expected to manage the waiting times of the service working closely with the pathway coordinator and clinical manager.

Job responsibilities
1. HR issues including sickness monitoring and management supervision for all staff
2. Performance of the team, monitoring dashboards and feedback
3. Ensuring team is adherent to all Trust processes and policies as well as ensuring CQC compliance.
4. Conflict resolution and managing complaints
5. Supporting with review of incidents and Early Learning Reviews
6. Supporting and deputising for the clinical manager with multi agency meetings including with the ICB when necessary
7. Completion of reports and actions plans relevant to the successful performance of the team
8. Leading on service improvement and change management within the team and wider CBU as necessary

Qualifications
Essential
9. First Level Registered Nurse RNMH, RMN, RNLD or equivalent first level qualification Social Worker, OT, Clinical Psychologist, other.
10. Relevant Post Graduate qualification or Training.
Experience
Essential
11. Experience of coordinating and managing staff resources.
12. Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team using a community based approach.
13. Experience of leading teams and taking on a leadership role in project management.
14. Coordinating and supporting staff in the day to day provision of clinical services.
15. Knowledge of health and safety requirements of the team.
Desirable
16. Awareness of human resource issues and budget management.
