Job Description
As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for:
* Management of outstanding account balances to ensure timely debt recovery.
* Building strong relationships with clients to support timely payments.
* Performing credit checks on new customers and agreeing terms of credit.
* Resolving queries relating to invoices, ensuring issues are resolved to prevent late payment.
* Reconciliation of sales ledger accounts.
* Monthly reporting and forecasting of debtor status.
* Working closely with the sales team to ensure all accounts are up to date.
* Continual improvement of the credit control process.
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'Credit Controller' should have:
* Proven experience in a Credit Controller position.
* Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving.
* A high degree of computer literacy, particularly in accounting software and Excel.
