Job Description Are you passionate about quality and driving change? We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team working on a weekend shift. In this position you will play a pivotal role in the triage of non-conformances and contribute towards departmental success. This is an exciting role in a fast-paced environment and if you are ready to make real impact, we want to hear from you As the Quality Assurance Technician, your key responsibilities will be: Responsible for the triage of non-conformances, answering them within the permissible process, or assigning them to Production, Modules or Design. Responsible for ensuring non-conformance reports are answered within deadlines, liaising with other areas to ensure answers are provided. Responsible for adding un-planned routing operations into work orders (e.g., rework, scrap), and champion work orders protocols to be followed. Ensuring the quality of the data in the NCR meets required standards to triaging and root cause analysis purposes. Effective problem-solving, ensuring 8D protocols are followed e.g., 5 Why diagrams. Attend Operations / Production OPM meetings, reporting on Quality trends from non-conformance data. On-hand support for operators and technicians on how to follow problem-solving techniques, supporting the reduction of NCR rates based in shopfloor areas (rather than product areas). We are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician with the following experience and skills: An Apprenticeship, degree or equivalent, preferably in an engineering or quality subject. Knowledge of manufacturing / production environments. Strong communication skills, able to collaborate with team members and cross-departments on a daily basis. Excellent time management skills, ensuring on-time delivery and effective and efficient in departmental and business meetings. Organised approach, able to manage and work to the daily priorities, working well under pressure or time constraints. Self-starter with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. Please note this role is working on a weekend shift: Friday to Sunday.
