Applications are invited for a Clinical Fellow (ST3+ equivalent) to work within Cardiology at QEHB. This post would commence as soon as possible until 03/02/2026 and is an ideal post for those wishing to pursue a career in cardiology and have completed their core general medical training but require more cardiology experience prior to obtaining a training number or working towards an equivalent post. The successful applicant will be provided with an educational supervisor to assist them in any future application.
The successful applicants will be expected to assist in the running of cardiology services at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, including in-patient and out-patient management of cardiac patients with a variety of conditions.
They will work at registrar level and will participate in the cardiology registrar on-call rota.
Whilst this is not a research fellow post, there will be opportunities to get involved with commercial and non-commercial cardiac research.
Experience in cardiology at core level is essential and some experience in echocardiography would be an advantage but is not essential as training will be provided. The successful applicant will be responsible to the Training lead for Cardiology.
