The UK Operations Coordinator for HSTC SELT delivery is responsible for ensuring smooth operations, overseeing test center activities, training staff, and enhancing the overall candidate experience across LanguageCert’s SELT delivery sites. This role involves managing part-time staff at multiple UK locations and supporting business development initiatives. Regular travel across the UK and frequent on-site presence at various High Stakes Test Centres (HSTCs) is required.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct regular visits to UK High Stakes Test Centres to ensure seamless operations and adherence to company processes.
2. Work with the Head Office Operations Team to introduce and refine operational processes and contingency plans for unexpected challenges.
3. Support UK HSTC teams in maintaining high service standards and optimizing test day operations.
4. Deliver in-person training to HSTC staff across the UK, ensuring they are well-versed in test delivery procedures, security measures, customer service expectations, and system updates.
5. Provide effective line management for assigned HSTC personnel.
6. Manage staff scheduling based on the designated operating days and times of HSTCs each month.
7. Step in to provide TCA emergency cover at test centers when needed or assist in sourcing temporary replacements.
· Monitor the quality of the test center environment to ensure this aligns with professional and operational standards and that branding is adhered to.
8. Provide insights to Business Development and Marketing teams based on site visits to identify local growth opportunities.
9. Support outreach initiatives, such as distributing promotional materials to potential partners and clients during site visits.
What We Look For:
10. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field preferred.
11. 1-3, previous working experience in a multi-cultured environment would be considered a plus.
12. Exceptional command of the English language (native-like fluency or C2 level certification preferred). Certifications such as LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL are a plus.
13. Strong IT proficiency, including email, Word, and Excel. ECDL Advance level certification is desirable.
14. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
15. Ability to work effectively across multiple teams, both in person and remotely.
16. Experience in customer service, ideally within the education or exam sector.
17. Proven experience in staff management and development.
18. Excellent administrative and organizational skills, with the ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines.
19. Attention to detail and strong record-keeping skills.
20. Understanding of corporate and ethical standards in a professional setting.
21. Willingness to travel frequently across the UK.
