Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – The Role
As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Full-time, long-term Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role paying up to £520 per week.
* Work closely with students with SEN, including those with Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
* Provide one-to-one and small-group support, helping students stay engaged in lessons.
* Use behaviour management strategies to support students’ emotional well-being and academic progress.
* Collaborate with teachers and SEN staff to implement individual learning plans (ILPs) and provide targeted interventions.
Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Candidate Requirements:
We are looking for compassionate, patient, and dedicated graduates who:
* Have a 2:1 degree or above in any subject (Psychology, Education, or related fields are desirable).
* Are passionate about supporting young people with additional needs.
* Have strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students.
* Can remain calm, resilient, and adaptable in a busy school environment.
* Have experience working with children or young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, coaching, volunteering, or youth work).
