Your Mission as a UK Management Accountant
As our UK Management Accountant, you'll play a key role in shaping financial strategy, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and providing insightful analysis to support business decisions. You'll work closely with the finance team and wider business to maximise profitability, streamline processes, and unlock growth opportunities.
What You'll Be Doing
Preparing monthly management accounts.
Analysing financial performance, providing commentary, and comparing results to budget and forecast.
Monitoring and optimising carriage, warehousing, and logistics costs to enhance efficiency.
Managing royalty and rebate agreements, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Preparing VAT returns and ensuring tax compliance.
Supporting budgeting and forecasting alongside the Finance Manager.
Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase margins and enhance financial controls.
Overseeing year-end reconciliations and supporting audits.
What We're Looking For
Part-qualified or qualified ACCA/CIMA with industry experience.
A proactive, ambitious, and results-driven mindset.
Previous experience in management accounting, with knowledge of financial planning, reporting, and cost control.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX or Netsuite is a plus).
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial insights to non-financial colleagues.
