This is a fantastic chance for an experienced and dedicated professional to play a key role in establishing and leading the home, ensuring it offers the highest standards of care and support. About The Role As the Children's Home Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the home, working closely with staff to create a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for the children. You will oversee the development of the home, from building a strong team to achieving successful Ofsted registration and inspection results. The ideal candidate will have a clear understanding of regulatory frameworks, a strong leadership background, and a passion for making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all aspects of the children's home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with Ofsted regulations. Recruit, train, and develop a dedicated team of care professionals. Build a supportive, nurturing environment to help children recover from trauma and achieve positive outcomes. Work collaboratively with external agencies and professionals to ensure the best possible support for the children. Ensure the home runs efficiently, maintaining all records and reports in accordance with statutory requirements. Essential Criteria Previous experience in a leadership role within a children's residential setting. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it). Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and experience in managing successful inspections.
