Job Title: Head of Human Resources
Location: Glasgow
FPSG are delighted to be working with a growing start up within the Financial Services sector; to facilitate, they are recruiting for a permanent Head of Human Resources. This role will provide a path to Executive level and would ideally suit a Human Resource Manager or Human Resource Business Partner keen to progress their career.
Role Overview
Implement the HR structure and initiatives that will support delivery of Organisations aspirations. To support the executive team in managing the human capital with responsibility for managing the HR function and acting as the key SME for Human Resources.
Develop, implement, and align HR programs with business objectives, supporting the senior management team and employees in their day-to-day HR needs.
Provide creative and insightful solutions to critical HR issues and advise members of the executive team accordingly. Responsible for HR deliverables, executing workforce plans and programs that align with overall strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Execute and evolve the HR initiatives and evolve the Function for the Bank so that it aligns and contributes to the delivery of the business ambitions. A plan that will support the culture and employee experience aligned to Organisations values.
The HR Plan incorporates all aspects of HR including Employer Brand and EVP, attracting, and recruiting talent, onboarding, and induction, Learning and Development and competency management, Talent and Leadership Development, Succession and Talent Management, Organisation Design & Development, Reward, Employee Relations, and the core employee services including wellbeing.
This is a standalone role which requires the role holder to manage and administer all operational processes related to and in addition to the above including risk management processes and supplier onboarding and management.
Key Requirements
Financial Services/Banking not essential but desirable. Experience of building HR functions/working in start-up environment is more relevant.
CIPD qualified or relevant experience across HR: Organisation Design & Development, Reward, Employee Relations, Learning and Development, HR Operations
Change & Resilience you will thrive on working in constant change and demonstrates significant resilience under pressure.
Commercial acumen, you will be involved in strategic decision-making within the business as an influencer.
