Position: Infrastructure System Specialist
Location: Houghton Regis, Bedfordshire

The impact you will have
The purpose of this position is to be part of the Technical Services core team. Responsibilities include developing and delivering specific IT services with an emphasis on cloud services (AWS, Azure etc), whilst providing support for the core IT infrastructure services according to acceptable timescales and service levels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsibility to maintain the Infrastructure supporting Arjo’s global services (Datacentre or Cloud based)
* Provide and update documentation for services rendered, and occasionally provide training to 1st/2nd and 3rd line support teams
* Provide a continual service improvement plan, ensuring that the service continues to deliver financial and technical value to the business. Responsible for ensuring that the services have been customized to satisfy the demands and needs of the global requirements as described in applicable Service Descriptions.
* Continuously supervise and monitor the performance of the applicable Services provided by our supported infrastructure.
* Be aware of technology developments and prepare recommendations where these could be used for the benefit of the business.
* Working with other teams to ensure service security by controlling service access and preventing unauthorized access through facilitation of applicable policy compliance and by ensuring platforms are designed, implemented with security built in.
* Responsibility to develop and maintain a service documentation and asset register of service related Configuration Items.
* Solve any problems that arise within the Infrastructure services provided.
* Adhere to Group IT defined ITSM processes.
* Adhere to agreed change management processes, and be responsible for managing any service changes
* Maintain Quality System duties and responsibilities and adherence to SOP:
* Ensure quality by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
* Preparation of business case recommendations in the use of technology
* Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
Skills And Experience:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and local language)
* Ability to participate in and occasionally lead projects with in and outside your team
* At least two years’ experience building environments in Microsoft Azure and related technologies. Including Entra
* Architectural level experience of Active Directory
o ADFS/Entra
o Security and Auditing
o DNS /DHCP
o Current and legacy versions of Windows Server
o Group Policies
* Experience of datacenter environments, and working with off-premise vendors
* Exposure to current network and server technologies
o SDWAN
o Current firewall and WAF technologies
* An understanding of current Citrix technologies
* Experience of MS O356 integration
* An understanding of integrating AI solutions
* Ability to communicate to different levels and cultures; verbally and through written communications
* Good skills to work in teams maintaining a service culture approach
* Skills to work with vendor contracts
* Be able to work with minimal supervision
* 5+ years of relevant professional experience in the IT industry.
* Possess basic knowledge of IT policies, standards, procedures and best practices (e.g ITIL)
* Smart and intellectually curious.
* Enjoy providing the highest level of customer service.
* Familiar with structured troubleshooting and root cause analysis
