Unique School Solutions are supporting a one form entry Primary School in the S60 area of Rotherham, who are needing a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to work with children with Autism (ASD) and Complex Needs across all Key Stages. The role will be a mixture of working within the classroom and the schools sensory area, under the direction of the teachers. The role is to start in February 2025 and for the right person could lead to a permanent job after 12 weeks.

Essential requirements for the role:
1. Previous experience working with children or adults with Special Educational Needs for at least 3 months in the last 2 years
2. The ability to build rapport with young learners
3. The ability to work under the direction of the class teacher as well as using own initiative
4. A calm, empathetic and nurturing personality
