Your Purpose
We are recruiting for a Distribution Coordinator to join us on a 6 month fixed term contract. You will be responsible for stock management within the Primary and Secondary warehousing network. Working closely with our Supply Planning and Demand Control teams and our Logistics providers to ensure that product availability and replenishment costs continue to improve alongside our first-choice ambition.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement an agreed inventory policy to ensure optimal stock levels are held in our depot network.
* Ensure replenishment of the network is done efficiently and effectively to reduce the overall logistics costs.
* Monitor stock alignment between MCBC and our logistic providers’ operating systems so planning processes are accurate and effective.
* Manage our stock levels & dates within warehouses and depots to ensure our service & financial goals are hit.
* Work with logistics providers to ensure that day to day operational issues are resolved timely and thus do not have an impact on the wider logistics team or customer service.
* Work closely with stock teams to ensure compliance and standardisation to processes across the stock logistics network.
About You
* Ability to build effective relationships with internal & external stakeholders at all levels of the business.
* Broad based Supply Chain knowledge and strong analytical and demand analysis skills.
* Effective written and oral communication skills.
* High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Analytical experience with a proactive approach to problem solving.
