What awaits you: Management of Fixed Asset Register including reconciliation to general ledger, depreciation entries, additions and disposals Compilation and submission of the group VAT return Managing the Capex and Projects for the site, including financial budget v actual tracker Prepare accounts for the Corporate UK entity including monthly submission into Onestream with annual planning/quarterly forecasts in Hyperion Participate in inventory stock counts and liaise with operational team to identify deviations Tracking onsite maintenance spend and liaising with Engineering team to ensure we remain on target with annual plan Cost centre variance analysis, comparing budget and actual costs Balance sheet reconciliations Inter-company reconciliations Cashpool and bank reconciliations Assist with Corporation Tax calculations including consolidation of all UK entities How you convince us: AAT qualified or CIMA part qualified (or similar) Strong accounting knowledge/experience, preferably in manufacturing IT - Hyperion, SAP Confidence to work with other departments as well as external parties Flexibility over month end Working 4 days in the office, 1 day at homeworking (subject to change) The Novelis Latchford plant a suburb of Warrington Cheshire in England employs approximately 200 employees. It is one of Europe’s largest aluminium used beverage cans recycling plants and Europe’s largest closed-loop recycling operation for automotive aluminium rolled products with an annual recycling capacity of up to 195000 tonnes. The plant is an essential part of Novelis’ European production and collaborated with Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) to create the first closed-loop system in Europe with a dedicated railway service to efficiently deliver aluminium between Novelis and JLR’s production site in the UK. The Latchford plant is committed to its community in supporting math and science education to local schools as well as sharing the value of safety and works with a local charitable foundation to sponsoring health.
