Weekend Class 2 Driver – Metal/Cable Recycling Business
Location: Walsall
Are you an experienced Class 2 driver looking for a weekend role with an exciting, rapidly growing metal and cable recycling company? We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Class 2 driver to join our team on an ongoing, permanent basis.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for driving a Class 2 curtainsider vehicle, collecting metal and cable waste from trade and business sites across the country every Saturday and Sunday. Your role will involve:
Collecting waste from various sites and sorting metal and cable products
Handling wheelie bins and ton sacks (manual handling required)
Occasional overnight stays on Saturdays (night out required on some weekends)
Working both independently and as part of a team when necessary
Requirements:
Valid Category C (Class 2) license
Digital tachograph card
Driver’s CPC card
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
