Job Overview
A fantastic opportunity for a band 5 Medical Workforce Advisor to look after our medical and dental workforce in regard to recruitment, resident doctor rotations, and agency and bank.
Someone highly organised with a passion to provide excellent customer service would be ideal for this role!
You will be one of two Medical Workforce Advisors within the Medical Workforce team which is integral to the Trust's aim to recruit the best staff, with the right values, to provide the highest level of patient care. You will work collaboratively with Medical Managers and Service Managers to plan and deliver extensive recruitment activities for Doctors, Dentists and Training Posts. The post holder will also recruit to the NHFT Medical & Dental Staff Bank for their allotted directorate.

* Work with Medical Managers & Service Managers to support workforce planning to pro-actively initiate recruitment campaigns once recruitment gaps have been identified.
* Support recruiting managers with the creation of content for job adverts, job descriptions and person specifications.
Medical & Dental Bank
* Working closely with the Medical Rostering Advisor, you will liaise with bank employees and agencies (where necessary) to source appropriate medical and dental cover.
Junior Doctors
* Liaising with the East Midlands Deanery through the year to ensure incoming junior doctors and dentists on rotation are cleared in a timely manner.
* Work closely with the Postgraduate Advisor within the PGME team to ensure that all doctors in training details are in place for the rotational induction programme.
* Ensure all clearances are performed for incoming doctors in training.
