THE ROLE
The Principal Project Manager will work in a collaborative and innovative team focused on construction delivery and completion for the redevelopment of Homes Victoria high-rise tower sites in accordance with the Government's Housing Statement. The Principal Project Manager will provide proactive and authoritative project management leadership for Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects, oversee and manage consultancies and contractors involved in design, documentation and project delivery, and work with key stakeholders including Councils and authorities to progress design and delivery works. This includes coordinating procurement processes, budget and cash flow management, construction contract administration, stakeholder management, reporting, and risk and issues management.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE :
1. Lead the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives including project development and delivery, monitoring and evaluation.
2. Lead the preparation and presentation of reports, internal and ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions.
3. Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.
